The Niagara County Bicentennial Commission Presents The Band of the US Air Force Reserve Jazz Ensemble
FREE CONCERT!
The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve consists of sixty full time professional musicians who are assigned to perform in at least three ensembles. The two autonomous performing ensembles are the Concert Band and Reserve Generation. All members are assigned to perform in the Ceremonial and Marching Band which normally utilizes 25-40 personnel. Musical support for Air Force Recruiting, military ceremonies and community relations worldwide is provided by 14 active duty bands. The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, stationed at Robins ir Force Base, Ga., is one of the Air Force's three oldest active duty bands. Eight performance groups comprise this 60-member band and share a live appearance schedule that takes them to over 500 concert sites each year. They are the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, the Jazz Ensemble, the popular music group Reserve Generation, the BlueNotes, Southern Aire, the Brass and Woodwind Quintets and the Pipe Band. The Band of the U.S. Air Force Reserve has unlimited performance opportunities and experience with some of the finest musicians in America! Open invitation for all to attend!
